Wells College Hires New Registrar and Assistant Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs

Wells College is delighted to announce the College’s newest hire, Jeremy Kinsman, who will be joining the staff at Wells as the new Registrar and Assistant Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs.
January 7, 2023

Kinsman will begin his new role on January 30, helping to expand the College’s capacity to support and aid students during their time at Wells.

Kinsman joins Wells with many years of experience in several different roles at Cornell, mostly focused on aspects of admissions and financial aid. He has also worked at New York Law School in a similar capacity. In addition to his years of administrative experience, Kinsman also completed his Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration at SUNY University at Buffalo last year.

Susan Henking, the Vice President for Academic & Student Affairs, said, “I am thrilled that Jeremy is joining Wells as a new colleague, helping ensure we serve our students well. His work will be critical to ensuring the very best as they build their futures.”

Born and raised in central New York, Kinsman is a first-generation college graduate and passionate about promoting education and helping students navigate a successful college experience. He is excited to join the Wells community and use his background in data management and student services to support the college. Outside of work, he is a husband and father of two boys, with a third on the way.

Kinsman joins several other new hires Wells has made over the last year, filling out the College’s administrative staff and giving Wells greater bandwidth to serve students, their families, and the community.
