WELLS IN FLORENCE
Location: Florence, Italy
Students enroll at the Italian International Institute Lorenzo de’ Medici, located in the heart of Florence. Instruction is in English. Courses are available in studio art, culinary art, art history, history, politics, economics, business, psychology, sociology, and archaeology, as well as Italian language courses at all levels. Students will live in apartments or homestays within a short walk of classes and surrounded by all the wonderful art and architecture that Florence has to offer.
Wells College students are encouraged to apply for a Giorgio and Anna Maria Renzi '69 Florence Study Abroad Stipend. These $2,500 stipends are to be used to cover the cost of airfare and the student visa and permit of stay, as well as additional cultural experiences while the student is abroad. Stipends are need-based and preference is given to students attending the Fall semester of the program. The Renzi stipends are contingent on continued funding.
