Wells values what transfer students add to our community, and we show it by offering generous merit-based scholarships. Your Wells app doubles as your scholarship application, so we encourage you to share your whole story with us so that we can award the most funding possible.
Transfer students will be considered for a full range of merit-based scholarships ranging from $12,500 to $25,000 per year.
Transfer Honors Scholarships
Additional Award
Students who transfer from one of Wells College’s partner community colleges and who have taken two or more honors-level courses are eligible to receive this award. See the Transfer Student Information page for more details.
Students transferring from local community colleges may also be eligible for the
Wells College Community Pathways Scholarship
$5,000
Students who transfer from a local community college, have a minimum grade point average of 3.0, and who participated in a dual-enrollment program while in high school are eligible to receive this $5,000 scholarship. This award will be combined with other scholarships to provide at least $15,000 of merit-based aid for each year of the recipient’s full-time enrollment at Wells College. Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship

Phi Theta Kappa members who transfer to Wells College are eligible to receive this award upon acceptance.
