12:20–1:20 p.m.
de Witt Lecture Room, Zabriskie Hall 106

The mission of the Island Grown Initiative (IGI) is to build a regenerative and equitable food system on Martha’s Vineyard that engages, informs and integrates the community. Join Rebecca Haag, a 1974 Wells graduate—who also was the College’s 2019 Commencement speaker last May—as she discusses how the IGI program works in schools, with local famers and with other organizations on the island to serve families facing food insecurity.

All talks in the fall 2019 Sustainability Perspectives series take place on Mondays at 12:20 p.m. in the de Witt Lecture Hall (Zabriskie Hall, room 106).
