Join us for an exploration of the diverse religious, faith and spiritual traditions and beliefs that inform our thoughts and actions around Creation and our care of the Earth.

  • 9:15-10:45am: Panel Discussion – Spirituality, Faith and Religion: How Do They Inform Our Care of Creation? – Mahmud Burton, Al-Huda Islamic Center; Karim Beers, the Baha’i Community of Ithaca; Kirianne Weaver, The First Presbyterian Church of Ithaca
  • 11:00-12:00pm: Shabbat: A Weekly Breath of Mindfulness for All Creation – Rabbi Shifran Tocacman, Congregation Tikkun v’Or
  • 12:00-1:00pm: Lunch & Optional Activity – Sangha Meditation (in the spirit of Thich Nhat Hanh), Reverend Betty Hurley
  • 1:00-1:30pm: Broken Turtles: A Wildlife Rehabilitator’s Spiritual Journey, Reverend Debbie Philip
  • 1:45-2:30pm: The Indigenous and Nature – Rhonda Martin, Gayogoho:no Grandmother
  • 2:30-3:00pm: Closing Ritual, Lakeside
