The Wells Book Arts Center Summer Institute is delighted to invite you to a lecture by large-format landscape photographer Barbara Bosworth, as she shares her artist books and the creative processes behind them. Barbara Bosworth is a photographer whose large-format images explore both overt and subtle relationships between humans and the rest of the natural world. Her artist books offer insight to her studio practice, combining her photography with meticulous craftsmanship. Each book is a work of art in itself, offering viewers an immersive experience. Barbara will guide us through her life as an artist via her artist books, sharing glimpses into her techniques, and the ideas behind her photographs. This lecture will be given Tuesday, July 18th from 7-8pm in the Art Exhibit Room on the 2nd Floor of Macmillan Hall, free and open to the public with a selection of artist books on view.
