Thank you for registering for the NYC to Wells College Visit Event! This page will be regularly updated with important information regarding the visit as the event approaches.


 
Remember to complete the Overnight Visit Policy to hand in before boarding the bus!

 

Travel & Contact

The pick-up spot on Wednesday, April 12, is outside Think Coffee at 123 4th Avenue. Please arrive at 12:30 p.m. to ensure the bus can depart promptly at 1 p.m. Your admissions counselor, Jenn Moreno (contact information below), will be there to welcome you and check you in. On Thursday, April 13, students will leave Wells College no later than 3 p.m. The estimated time of return to New York City is approximately 8 p.m., depending on traffic, outside Think Coffee at 123 4th Avenue.

9:25 - 10:40 a.m. Classroom Experience (sign up for classes below)
11 - 11:45 a.m. Shades of Wells panel discussion with Campus Life and the Dean of Students
Noon - 1 p.m. Lunch
1 - 2:15 p.m. Living & Learning Campus Tours
2:30 - 3 p.m. Wells College Store / The Grind Café
3 p.m. Wrap-up; depart for New York City

 

Class Sign-Ups

On Thursday morning you will have the chance to sit in on a Wells class. Choose a class from the list below to sign up. Space is limited, so register to reserve a seat in the class you want!

 

What to Bring

Below is a suggested list of items you should bring with you on the bus.

  • Signed Overnight Visit Policy
  • Sleeping bag (if you currently own one -- if not, no worries! We will be happy to provide you with a sleeping bag)
  • Pillow
  • Toiletries
  • Personal medication
  • Change of clothing
  • Jacket (projected temperature for April 12-13 is 60°-40° overcast)

 

Important Notes

  • All meals will be covered while students are on campus (Wednesday: Dinner; Thursday: Breakfast & Lunch; to-go snack bags)
  • Verizon users enjoy the best cellular reception on the Wells College campus. Free guest Wi-Fi is available, so students will be able to use email, FaceTime, WhatsApp, etc. Please have a plan for communicating with family before you leave New York City.
  • All students are responsible for returning home from the bus drop-off point (Think Coffee at 123 4th Avenue) on Thursday night, April 13. Please make sure to have money for a subway pass if you need one.
