Recipes of Peace: Considering Jikonsasaeh and the Power of Haudenosaunee Women's Food-Seed Responsibilities

Scholar-in-residence Laticia McNaughton will talk about the role Jikonsaseh played in making peace between Haudenosaunee peoples and the creation of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. This important part of Haudenosaunee history speaks to the role women and food play in creating peace.
