Watch Live This Friday as Men's Volleyball Team Competes in Its First-Ever NCAA Tournament

The winner of tonight's game against Southern Virginia University will face off against Stevens Institute of Technology in the quarterfinal on Saturday.

Following a come-from-behind victory over top-ranked Lancaster Bible College last Sunday, April 14, the men's volleyball team won the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) championship, earning the team its first-ever spot in the NCAA Division III Men's Volleyball Championship.

Wells will face Southern Virginia University in the first round of the tournament on Friday, April 19 at 6 p.m. (EDT). The regional is hosted by Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, N.J. The winner of the Wells vs. Southern Virginia match will advance to play Stevens in the quarterfinals on Saturday, April 20 at 6 p.m. The four advancing teams will then meet at Harwood Arena in Union, N.J. for the semifinals and championship game on April 26 and 27.

Both matches will be held at Canavan Arena at Stevens Institute of Technology. Tickets are available at the Canavan Arena at the following prices: adults $6; students $4; senior citizens $4; children 12 and under are free.

A total of 14 teams qualified for this year's tournament. Ten schools earned automatic bids as conference champions including Wells in the NEAC and Southern Virginia in the Continental Volleyball Conference. It is the first NCAA appearance for both Wells and Southern Virginia.
