Spring Break Memo

Classes end on Friday, March 9, for Spring Break and resume on Monday, March 19.

Classes end on Friday, March 9, for Spring Break and resume on Monday, March 19.  All Residence Halls will remain open during Spring Break at no extra cost to students. Although the Residence Halls will remain open, the Office of Residence Life and the Office of Campus Safety need to be aware of who is staying on campus during the break. If you plan to remain on campus during all or any portion of the Spring Break, you must register online at the following location: Spring Break Registration. All registrations must be received by Wednesday, March 7, 2018 by 4:30pm.

If you are leaving campus during Spring Break, please remember to:

  • Close your windows and draw your shades if in a first-floor room. 
  • Unplug all electronics, including alarm clocks.  Your refrigerator may remain plugged.
  • Empty trash in your room.
  • Remove/store all perishable food.
  • Take all valuables and personal items you may need.
  • Turn off all lights and lock your door behind you.

Dining Services

Please note there will be no dining services on-campus during Spring Break.

The last meal served in the Dining Hall prior to Spring Break will be dinner on Friday, March 9, 2018.  The first meal to be served in the Dining Hall following Spring Break will be dinner on Sunday, March, 18, 2019. 


If you are interested in shuttles during Spring Break, please read the following information very carefully.  Van drivers cannot make special accommodations the day of travel, so please make sure to sign up prior to your day of departure.  Additionally, students can be fined for any missed shuttles.  Please contact the Transportation Office if you have any questions or special needs.

All requests for Spring Break transportation must be received by 5:00 pm on Tuesday, March 6, 2018.  Any transportation requests after March 6 may not be accepted! All the necessary information must be completed on the request forms in order for us to schedule a shuttle ride for you. Please make sure you review the importation travel tips to ensure your travel arrangements go smoothly.

Ithaca Bus/Airport - 7:30AM, 11:30AM, 4:30PM & 7:00PM (Ithaca Bus and Airport has a 7:00PM for incoming dates only)
Syracuse Bus/Airport - 7:30AM, 11:30AM & 3:30PM
Rochester Airport Only - 9:00AM and 3:00PM
