The Sullivan Center for Business and Entrepreneurship is accepting registrations from Wells students for the 2017 Wells College Be Your Own Boss Business Idea Competition. The competition will take place during the annual Entrepreneurship Week, February 26 to March 3, 2017.
The 2017 competition is open to all Wells students, and individuals or teams will compete for prizes totaling $10,000. To register, email Kevin Miles, Director of the Sullivan Center for Business and Entrepreneurship, with your name, email address and phone number. If you have other students on your team, please supply their names as well.
The categories and awards include:
• For-profit business ideas
• Non-profit or social impact ideas
• Friends, family and faculty (this category is for anyone who develops an idea with someone who is not a student at Wells — you can have one person on your team who is a friend at another college or university, a family member, a faculty member, or a Wells graduate from any year/class)
• There will also be a prize for the most Sustainable Business idea!
NOTE: Only Wells students are eligible for the grand prize raffle drawing. All team members will share equally in prize money unless other arrangements are agreed upon in advance by all team members.
Register by emailing Kevin Miles, director of the Sullivan Center for Business and Entrepreneurship, at kmiles@wells.edu.
