Ms. Davis has provided an authoritative voice on legal matters for many years as she has pursued a highly successful and influential career.

“I am very excited to be asked to give this address,” said Ms. Davis. “Personally, this is one of my life’s greatest honors. It feels like coming full circle.”

Tracy Hope Davis has been a part of the U.S. Trustee Program since she joined as a trial attorney in 1997. She served as Assistant U.S. Trustee and Acting U.S. Trustee in various locations in New York before being appointed U.S. Trustee for New York, Connecticut and Vermont (Region 2) in August 2010. As a nationally recognized expert, she has participated in many panels for national, state and local organizations, including the American Bankruptcy Institute and the National Bar Association, and has lectured extensively at the National Advocacy Center on bankruptcy issues.

Ms. Davis received her law degree from Rutgers Law School in Newark, N.J., and her bachelor’s degree, with honors, from Wells College in 1986.
