This week, November 17 - 21, Wells joins together to support the nation-wide "It's On Us" campaign. "It's on Us" is an effort developed and executed by the federal government, in association with NotAlone.gov and the White House Task Force to Protect Students from Sexual Assault, to engage college campuses and students across the country to stop sexual assault, domestic violence and sexual misconduct as a whole. Bystander intervention and community efforts can put an end to sexual assault and intimate partner violence.
We at Wells College will be coordinating campus programming this week aimed towards building community, raising awareness and strengthening collaborative efforts between students and staff. The outline for the week is as follows:
If you have any questions or ideas for how else to promote this week, contact Hailey Uribe, Assistant Director of Student Activities and Coordinator of Residential Programming, at 315-364-3463 or email huribe@wells.edu.
