AURORA, N.Y. – Wells College senior men’s basketball player Terry Harrison (Brooklyn, N.Y./Forest Hills) has been named D-III News Pre-Season All-American Honorable Mention for the upcoming season. The publication also selected Harrison as the Pre-Season North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Player of the Year while choosing Wells to place second in the conference.

Last season, Harrison helped lead the Express to 17-12 record, the NEAC Championship, and an appearance in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship Tournament-a first for the institution.

Harrison earned several post-season awards including Men’s Basketball All-East Region Second Team, NEAC All-Conference First Team, and NEAC Tournament MVP. Harrison averaged 18.8 points per game and 9.4 rebounds per game in 29 games on the season. He also finished with 13 double-doubles and was named NEAC Student-Athlete of the Week four separate times. Harrison finished the 2011 season second in the NEAC in scoring and third in rebounding.
