Women's Swimming

AURORA, NY. - The Wells College Department of Athletics has announced the 2011-2012 women’s swimming schedule. The schedule includes three home meets and six away meets. The season will culminate with the North Eastern Athletic Conference Swimming Championship to be held on February 17-19. The men placed second last year in the championship.

The Express open their season this Saturday when they travel Oneonta, N.Y. to take part in the Hartwick College Relay’s. The team will then travel to Bard at Simmons Rock the following Saturday, Oct. 29 before opening up their home meet schedule against SUNY Brockport on Nov. 5. The Express then hit the road for three more meets against Utica College (Nov. 12), SUNY Cobleskill (Nov. 17), before closing out the first half of the season at Gallaudet University on Dec. 2.

The Express return to the pool on Jan. 14 when they welcome SUNY Buffalo to Aurora for a 1 p.m. meet, before traveling to Marywood University on Jan. 18. for a 5 p.m. meet. The Express close out their home schedule on Jan. 21 in the double-dual meet against the University of Pitt-Bradford and Mansfield University at home, before ending their regular season schedule in a double-dual meet in Geneva, N.Y. against William-Smith College and Cazenovia College.
