AURORA, N.Y. - Ben Toach scored in double-overtime, snapping a scoreless tie, and leading the SUNY IT Wildcats past the Wells College Express 1-0 in North Eastern Athletic Conference men’s soccer action Saturday afternoon in Aurora. Justin Shade earned the shutout victory in goal with two saves, while Express keeper David Kaus (Erie, Pa.) finished with four saves in the loss. With the loss the Express fall to 6-6 (3-3 NEAC) while the Wildcats improve to a conference leading 6-5 (6-0 NEAC).

The two teams played even throughout the entire game. Both squads registered 11 shots, while the Express held a slim 5-3 advantage in corner kicks. The Wildcats sent two headers towards the goal in the first half but, it wouldn’t be until the 107th minute that Toach found the back of the net for the game winner.

The Express will look to bounce back against the Utica College Pioneers tomorrow at 2 p.m. in Aurora.
