Wells College Seed Exchange
Think Spring! The Wells College Seed Exchange program is now up and running. The exchange cabinet is already loaded with several hundred packets full of dozens of different varieties of vegetable, herb, and flower seeds. These seeds were generously donated by several seed companies: Renee's GardenHigh Mowing Organic Seeds;Seed Savers Exchange; and Botanical Interests. All seeds in the exchange program are available for free; we request that you follow the simple guidelines posted next to the exchange cabinet for dispensing just the amount that you need for your garden.
The Seed Exchange cabinet is located on the 2nd floor of Long Library, right next to the Mac lab/Maker Space, and is available to the public during library hours: Monday-Thursday: 8:30AM-Midnight; Friday: 8:30AM-6PM; Saturday: 1PM-6PM; and Sunday: 11AM-Midnight. While you visit the Seed Exchange, peruse the gardening books available for checkout from the Library.  Free visitor parking closest to the Library is available in the Woods Lot.
The Wells College Seed Exchange is a collaboration between the Wells College Library and the Center for Sustainability and the Environment. Check out the Wells College Seed Exchange and get growing!
