November 1, 2022

Mr. LaGreca brings an in-depth knowledge of the latest innovations in digital technology as well as best practices in marketing and communications to the Wells community. His arrival in December will round out the senior leadership team at Wells.

“I am excited to bring my depth of experience and passion for communications and marketing to the Wells College community. There are so many stories to share about our students and their incredible journeys of self-discovery,” shared LaGreca.

LaGreca earned an M.A. in Communication Studies from California State University, Sacramento in 2016. His area of study focused on the intersection of technology and instructional communication. After returning to New Jersey, he rejoined New Possibilities Group LLC., a digital agency he co-founded in 2001 with a partner from his undergraduate studies at Montclair State University. The agency focused on custom development solutions, serving clients from across the United States. During his tenure at the agency, LaGreca helped clients raise over $34 million in funding, sales and acquisitions.

LaGreca transitioned to higher education in 2018, introducing digital marketing and communication strategies at Felician University. He later joined Washington & Jefferson College, where he helped grow enrollment, discover efficiencies through digital workflows, create effective internal communication, and increase brand awareness through targeted advertising campaigns.

“I am so pleased that Kris LaGreca will be joining us at Wells College as our Vice President for Marketing and Communications. After a national search that received a robust number of applications, Kris emerged as a person with great instincts, a deep knowledge of social media and graphic design, and the desire to assist Wells College to be well known in the regional and national media. Kris comes to Wells from Washington and Jefferson College where he serves as their Director of Digital Strategy and prior to that, Felician University where he was Director of Marketing and Communications. Kris hopes to join Wells College around December 1st.”

LaGreca previously served on the East Washington, Pennsylvania borough council and as a committee chair of the Sons and Daughters of Italy, Washington, Pennsylvania chapter. Together with his spouse, Lauren, and son, Lorenzo, they look forward to being a part of their new local community. Wells is enthusiastic about the skills LaGreca will bring to his new role, and excited for this opportunity for the school to continue flourishing and to better serve its students.
