Wells College celebrated I Heart Wells Week last week. Spreading love, positivity, and appreciation for Wells is an annual tradition on-campus every February. Many events and activities were organized for students, faculty, staff, and community members to enjoy, like eating heart-shaped doughnuts, writing Valentine’s to faculty and staff, and toasting to the senior class during a special wine and cheese reception.
Some events built on Wells traditions, like teatime that followed a large group photo in the shape of a heart in the Sommer Center. Other events educated the community with special guests, like a visit and talk from former Byrne Dairy president Bill Byrne and a Visiting Writers Series master class and reading from self-published author and alum Bekkah Frisch ‘14.
I Heart Wells Week and other related campaigns are made possible by the Office of Alumnae and Alumni Engagement and the Office of Advancement. More information on upcoming alumni events and giving options can be found on the Wells alumni website.
