Applying for Financial Aid at Wells

Your education is a significant investment and we are committed to helping you every step of the way. Wells College is need-blind — your need for financial assistance has no impact on your chance for admission.

We will automatically consider you for Wells merit-based scholarships when we review your completed admission application.

To be eligible for need-based financial aid from Wells College, you must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Students can access and begin filling out the FAFSA in early December. All students who have a FAFSA on file with Wells for Fall 2024 enrollment are eligible for an additional $500 grant.

If you are eligible to receive need-based aid, you may receive a mix of grants, scholarships, student loans, and campus work-study. For more information about financial aid, please feel free to contact the Financial Aid Office through email or call 315-364-3289.
