Assistant Professor of Business Erinn Ryen and Kevin Miles, director of the Sullivan Center for Business and Entrepreneurship, were invited to speak at Hobart & William Smith Colleges’ first Innovation Fest on Nov. 16, 2019. The title of the presentation was “Empathy: First Step In Innovation and Creative Problem Solving.” In addition to the faculty speaking at the conference, eleven Wells students registered and eight attended the conference; two Wells students even participated in the final Flash Pitch contest and did a great job! The Innovation Fest brought together students from several colleges in the region, including Hobart, SUNY Geneseo, Nazareth and the University of Rochester.
