The Sustainability Perspectives Series presents "Sustainable Architecture: Exploring and Unraveling Elements of Healthy, Livable and Resilient Buildings and Communities," with Dennis Andrejko from the Golisano Institute for Sustainability's Department of Architecture.
Rachel Partington, a 2013 Wells College graduate and an attorney with Knauf Shaw LLP, returns to campus to explain the current state of environmental policy in New York State. Her talk will explore how state policies can serve as a backstop to the rollbacks of environmental protections by the Environmental Protection Agency under the Trump administration, and how effective land-use policy can shape sustainable community development.
This event will take place at 12:20 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 18, 2019 in the de Witt Lecture Room (Zabriskie Hall 106) on the Wells College campus. Admission is free, and all are welcome to attend.
This talk is part of the Center for Sustainability and the Environment's Sustainability Perspectives Series. Wells is committed to providing access to all events; anyone needing assistance should contact Marian Brown, director of the Center for Sustainability and the Environment, as soon as possible at firstname.lastname@example.org or 315.364.3304.
