Opening Convocation for the fall 2018 semester will take place on the evening of Thursday, Aug. 23 in Macmillan Circle. Not only does it mark the beginning of the fall semester, but it’s one of the College’s most cherished traditions. This year, Frances Mulberry ’12 and Janet Murphy ’90 will serve as the alumnae candle lighters.
Please line up in the following locations at the requested time. The ceremony will begin promptly at 7:30 p.m.
STUDENTS: please line up by 7:15 p.m. on the south lawn of Stratton Hall. Make sure to wear the correct attire!
- Seniors: Commencement gowns
- Juniors: EVEN colors
- Sophomores: ODD colors
- First-year students: red T-shirts
FACULTY AND STAFF: please line up at 7:00 p.m. in the foyer of Macmillan Hall.
