Harnessing the Power of the Earth and Sun: geothermal systems and battery storage

A Sustainability Perspectives Series talk by Jesse Cook, president of Geotherm, Inc.
Sep. 12, 2016
12:15 pm
de Witt Lecture Hall (106), Zabriskie Hall

Jesse Cook, president of Geotherm, Inc. will explain that geothermal systems are the most environmental and efficient heating/cooling systems available, offering significant cost savings, unparalleled reliability, domestic hot water, elimination of fossil fuel consumption, zero emissions and complete comfort. These systems can also be combined with solar PV arrays for a "net zero" home, free from utility bills and carbon emissions. Battery storage is the next frontier for solar arrays to facilitate off-grid solutions, emergency backup power, as well as connection to electric vehicles. This talk will explain these technologies and how they can be integrated with your residence or business.
