The Sustainability Perspectives Series welcomes Ian Shapiro of Taitem Engineering for a talk titled "Climate Change, Careers in Green Buildings, and What More You Can Do." This event will take place at 12:20 p.m. Monday, February 19, in the de Witt Lecture Room (Zabriskie 106) on the Wells College campus. Admission is free, and all are welcome to attend.

Ian Shapiro, founder of Taitem Engineering, a local firm specializing in energy conservation and renewable energy projects, has been twice trained by Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project, which produced the film “An Inconvenient Truth” that raised public consciousness about climate change. Climate change is already happening. Come hear the latest update from Al Gore's Climate Reality Project, as well as learn about careers in the green building field, and what you can even do at home and at school and work.

This talk is part of the Center for Sustainability and the Environment's Sustainability Perspectives Series.
