Due to circumstances beyond our control, the Feb. 25 talk has been canceled.
The Sustainability Perspectives Series presents "Be an Informed Consumer: How the Purchases We Make Affect Health and the Environment," with Kate Winnebeck, senior program manager at the New York State Pollution Prevention Institute.
How can we make a difference every day in our health and the environment? This talk will provide valuable information about where toxins may be in our everyday lives, what's being done to reduce them, and recommend best practices to make informed decisions about the products we buy.
This event will take place at 12:20 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 25, 2019 in the de Witt Lecture Room (Zabriskie Hall 106) on the Wells College campus. Admission is free, and all are welcome to attend.
This talk is part of the Center for Sustainability and the Environment's Sustainability Perspectives Series. Wells is committed to providing access to all events; anyone needing assistance should contact Marian Brown, director of the Center for Sustainability and the Environment, as soon as possible at email@example.com or 315.364.3304.
