Wells College is committed to respecting the privacy of our donors and prospective donors. We value the trust of those we deal with and of the public, and we recognize that maintaining this trust requires us to be transparent and accountable in maintaining the confidentially of the personal information that you choose to share with us.
Wells College uses donors' information to understand their interests in its mission and to update them on the organization's plans and activities. It is shared with staff, board members, volunteers and consultants only on a "need-to-know" basis. Any other sharing of donor/prospective donor information is done at the discretion of the Director of Alumnae and Alumni Engagement. The College also assures donors that their names and addresses are not sold, rented or leased to any commercial third party unless permission has been granted.
Donors may request that personal contact information (phone and mailing address) be kept private and not shared with volunteers or other entities unless lawfully required for customary non-profit business.
