Anthony Mandela oversees the International Programs office and promotes internationalization efforts on behalf of Wells College. He holds undergraduate degrees in business finance and management (with minors in Spanish and religious studies) and an MBA with a concentration in international economic development. Prior to beginning his work in the field of international education, Anthony studied, worked and lived abroad in Central America.
Dr. Luca Casaglia and Ms. Milva Porfidio are the resident directors in Florence and help lead orientation, provide academic assistance throughout the semester, and consult on cultural adjustments you may experience abroad.
These dedicated resident directors, who have worked for the Wells in Florence program for many years and are in regular contact with Wells College staff back in the U.S., will be a major support to you while you are studying abroad in Italy.
Ms. Amy Torea is program coordinator for Wells in Florence. Amy oversees all aspects of application processing and pre-departure preparation. She has been working with the program for over a dozen years and has spent six years living abroad and teaching English as a second language.
Wells in Florence is part of the Wells College Office of International Programs.
