Sustainability Curriculum Development Workshop

“Preparing Our Students for the 21st Century through Sustainability Education”

Thursday, May 25  – Friday,  May 26, 2017

In this 1-and-1/2-day interactive training workshop, you will:
• Deepen your understanding of Education for Sustainability (EfS)
• Receive coaching on developing outcome-based lesson plans that integrate sustainability education into your curriculum
• Learn wha tyou need to know to integrate content from all three “pillars” of sustainability education (social justice, science and economics) into classes in any discipline.
• Explore curriculum models that integrate diverse modalities into age-appropriate, engaging, content-rich and complex learning. 

Early Bird Workshop fee (including all meals and workshop materials)  $100  (must register by May 10)
Workshop fee for Wells College community members (faculty, staff, students) and affiliates: $25 (must register by May 10)
Regular Workshop fee (including all meals and workshop materials)   $150  (rate good from May 11 -17)

On-campus lodging is available for $65 single occupant room per person per night; $90 double occupant room per night
