Arthur Bellinzoni, professor emeritus of history and philosophy of religion, delivered a lecture on the “The Creation Stories in the Bible"” at Wells College and a lecture on “What Is the Bible” at the United Ministry of Aurora, both in September 2020. He also gave a lecture on the Bible and history at Onondaga Community College in October 2020, and was scheduled to give a lecture on the Gospel of Mark at the United Ministry of Aurora on Dec. 12, 2020.
Gehan Dhameeth, associate professor of business, was invited by the faculty of management and commerce at the University of Kelaniya (Sri Lanka) to do a Zoom guest lecture, “Information Strategy for Sustainable Competitive Advantage,” for their MBA students on Nov. 28, 2020.
On Nov. 24–25, 2020, Tukumbi Lumumba-Kasongo, professor of political science, was invited by the Chatham House Africa Programme in London to attend the “Africa, Japan and the UK Emerging Partnerships beyond Summits” conference. His Zoom presentation was entitled, “Navigating Multipolarity and Trilateral Frameworks.” Professor Lumumba-Kasongo has also published a chapter entitled: “Le Salaire De La Rue Ou Phénomène «Shayeur/Coopérant»: Réflexion Sur La Violence et la Pauvreté dans les Villes Congolaises” in the book Violences Urbaines en République Démocrqtique du Congo: Que Faire? (Guy Aundu, ed.; L’Harmattan, Editions Académia; Paris, 2020).
