9:15AM – 12:00PM Designing and Assessment of Significant Sustainability Learning Experiences

This session will cover fundamental "Understanding by Design" principles, including concept mapping, developing student learning objectives; "backwards course design" to assure students achieve learning objectives; strategies to develop critical thinking skills; concept mapping; and assessment of sustainability learning
