Using the same free-form design used
to construct Long Library, Barler Hall was completed in 1974. This facility
offers a recital hall, lecture rooms, vocal and instrumental practice rooms,
faculty studios, an electronic music studio, a recording and study score
library, and many listening areas. Students also enjoy easy access to 15
pianos, a Dowd harpsichord, and an early instrument collection.
