Odd/Even Spring 2014

03-27-14 - Odd/Even Competitions this weekend!

Odd/Even competitions will heat up this weekend with the men’s dance-off and dodgeball game. The teams have been practicing, the dining hall is decorated, and gloating has surely been commonplace. The tradition began in 1898 with the first ever odd/even game. In case this lingo is not yet in your vernacular: teams are based on whether a student will graduate in an odd or even-numbered year. In the fall the women participated in a sing-off and a basketball game. In the spring the men have the opportunity to compete for glory!

Friday night the dance-off will take over the Dining Hall at 9 p.m. Costumes, music, and revelry will abound as the time-honored tradition of odd verses even plays out.

The epic battle continues on Saturday at 9 p.m. with the dodgeball game in the Lower Gym. A new and exciting addition has been made to the line-up. The Prodigy step team will perform as part of the festivities.

Who will be victorious? There will surely be fun had by all as the tradition continues.
