Student Publications Present Their Fall 2012 Issues
12-10-12 - New issues of the Sycamore and the Chronicle now available on-campus.
This semester's issues of The Sycamore and The Chronicle, Wells' student publications, are now available on-campus.
The Sycamore was started during the 2008-09 academic year as an environmental and special interest magazine. It has expanded to include an advice section, music and movie reviews, health tips, and literary, photography and academic paper contests. The magazine is published once per semester; the current issue focuses on the theme of "power." The Sycamore's writing and editorial staff is made up of a number of current Wells students, led by Editor-in-Chief Judith Lavelle '14.
The Chronicle is Wells' literary magazine; for many years it has published submissions of literary and visual art from across the College's student body. The current issue deals with the theme of "identity"; it contains over 30 original pieces by Wells students. Kaitlin Hollrah '13 led a team of seven editors in gathering submissions and designing this issue.
Both publications can be found in various locations on campus.
