Blessed by lovely fall weather, Alumnae Council 1999 celebrated Wells College and Wells alumnae
volunteers. Over 70 Wells alumnae volunteers met on campus during the weekend
of September 17-19 for training and work planning sessions and to hear
the good news from campus. Council delegates cheered for the tennis, soccer,
and field hockey teams that all played against Hood College on Saturday
afternoon and enjoyed the Odd-Even game. The Evens won this year by a 25-12
score, but the Odds won the Friday evening Song Contest. Alumnae also enjoyed
greeting prospective students and their families who were on campus for
the Legacy Open House.
