Reunion 2008 General Information

Who should attend

All alumnae are invited to attend regardless of class year. Friends and family are welcome. No pets please.

Kids

The organized program for children (aged 4 – 12), staffed by Wells Students, operates on Friday evening, Saturday morning, and Saturday evening. Children 12 and under are charged half-price for meals and lodging.

Packing

Bring your beanie, freshman sign, class banner, and other special items for the Reunion parade. This time of year the weather in Aurora can be hot or cold-and-rainy. We recommend casual dress for the weekend, but alumnae do dress up a bit for the Saturday evening events. Be sure to bring a warm sweater for the evening. Bring walking shoes, comfortable clothes, an umbrella, and a camera. If you want to make use of our sports facilities don’t forget your gear ie. bathing suit, golf clubs, tennis racket, etc. If you want to march in the academic procession at the Alumnae Award Convocation, you can rent academic regalia (see registration form) or bring your own.

Beds & Baths

Classes will be housed together in the dorms. The rooms are equipped with the basics, including linens, blankets, towels, and soap. For your comfort, you may want to bring heavier towels, a blanket, a reading light, and a fan. Bathroom facilities in the dorms are shared hallway baths. Each dorm has a designated men’s bathroom for the weekend.

Wells Van

Van service is available to and from the Ithaca and Syracuse airports, bus stations and train station. Please be sure to fill out the registration form with your transportation needs and we will do our best to accommodate you. You will receive a confirmation call. Syracuse is $25 per person each way and Ithaca is $17 per person each way.

Singing & Ringing

Reunion 2008 will feature a performance by alumnae members of Henry’s VIII and Whirligigs. Former bell ringers are also invited to ring the bells during the weekend. If you plan to take part in either one of these activities, please note this on the registration from.
