Assistant/Associate
Director of Admissions
The
Wells College Admissions Office is seeking a highly motivated professional
who is energetic, creative, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
with the utmost of professionalism, and will support the college's rich
history and vision. Position title is dependent upon level of experience.
The Assistant/Associate Director of Admissions will be responsible for
all aspects of the recruitment process including, but not limited to recruitment
travel and research-based management of a recruitment territory; communication
with prospective students, parents, and guidance counselors; prospective
student interviews, group presentations, and extensive follow-up communication;
review of admissions applications; recruitment and college related events
both on- and off-campus. In addition, the Assistant/Associate Director

QUALIFICATIONS:
The
successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and at least three years
experience working in college/university admissions. Must have demonstrated
public relations skills and the ability to work independently and as part
of a team. Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication and problem-solving
skills are required. Knowledge of writing for the web and electronic
communication is a plus. Extensive travel with some evening and weekend
work required. Flexibility, initiative, confidentiality, and the
ability to learn are important. The successful candidate must have the
ability to travel extensively, including car and plane.

Registrar
Wells
College seeks a Registrar to serve as the primary steward of all official
academic records in accordance with the College’s academic policies and
procedures, federal and state laws, and FERPA guidelines. The Registrar
is responsible for the integrity and security of student data, records
and transcripts; all functions related to course registration, enrollment
certification, and awarding of degrees; implementation of academic policies;
coordinating state and federal reporting; and working individually with
students and faculty. The Registrar collaborates with other appropriate
offices and committees on curriculum development and management, enrollment
management, the College catalog, and commencement. The Registrar reports
to the Associate Provost for Academic and Student Life.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree; 5 years of higher education administrative experience
including at least two years in a registrar’s office; strong written and
oral communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills especially those
in the areas of collaboration, conflict resolution, problem solving and
decision making; strong organization and planning skills with the ability
to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and high work
quality; ability to work well without close supervision; proficient computer
skills including demonstrated knowledge of client-server student information
systems and report writing (experience with Jenzabar EX and InfoMaker preferred);
working knowledge of current registration and enrollment policies and trends
and the ability to track campus trends in order to improve systems and

Director
of Leadership and Planned Giving
The Director of Leadership
and Planned Giving is responsible for planning and the implementation of
and reporting on the overall major, leadership and planned giving activity
at Wells College The director will manage a portfolio of 150
to 200 major and leadership donors for the College, as well as oversee
progress with presidential prospects and those within the Vice President
for Advancement’s portfolio. In addition to his/her own work with donors,
the director will recruit and support College trustees and other volunteers
to assist with their identification, engagement, solicitation and stewardship
of major donors. He or she will also be expected to define, lead
and expand the College’s planned giving program. Along with the Vice
President for Advancement, the Director of Leadership and Planned Giving
will be a core member of a senior advancement team responsible for
supporting the president’s development activity and for implementing the
College’s fund raising programs. The director reports to the Vice
President for Advancement and may oversee additional staff. Minimum requirements:
Comprehensive knowledge of advancement programs and major, leadership and
planned gift development, including prospect tracking systems and proper

Job Description
Head
Men's and Women's Volleyball Coach
Wells College seeks applicants
for the full-time 10 month position of head coach for Men’s and Women’s
Volleyball. As a two-sport Head Coach, will oversee all aspects of the
Men’s and Women’s Volleyball programs, including team sport skills and
techniques, preparation of daily practices and season plan, ordering supplies
and uniforms, scheduling, and compiling of team and roster statistics and
information. A primary function of the position will be the recruitment
and retention of qualified student-athletes. These two programs will be
brand new programs to Wells College. The hired coach will recruit for both
teams for the 2010-2011 season and the programs will begin Varsity competition
in the 2011-2012 season. The expected start date is August 1st. Regular
