Anxiety Workshop - Henry Wells Room
Anxiety is all around us, especially during this time of the semester, so come to
the Anxiety Workshop! Come anytime to learn about symptoms, common misconceptions
and ways to manage anxiety and participate in some activities.
Depression Workshop - German Culture Room
Come learn about depression! This workshop will review the statistics, treatment,
management, and symptoms of depression. There will also be a depression myth and fact
session.
Tea-Stress 2:45-3:15 p.m., Art Exhibit Room
Come during Tea-Time to the AER to relax before finals week. We will be practicing
deep-breathing exercises, muscle relaxation techniques as well as visualization techniques.
P.E.A.C.E. 5:00-6:00 p.m., Stratton Lecture Hall
Psychological Education and Clarification for Everybody
Ever wanted to know what it's really like to have a psychological disorder? Come hear
from fellow students about their experience with disorders and how they learned to
be resilient. Feel free to ask questions, and be open to discussion!
Take Back the Stigma 8:00-9:30 p.m., Express Café
Join us for this special Take Back the Mic centered around psychological stigma. Perform
a poetry reading, literature reading, dance, or song influenced by mental disorders,
anxiety, depression, and the like. Raise awareness about psychological stigma and
express yourself! Popcorn will be served.
