MORE INFORMATION

In order for internship credit to be recorded on your transcript and counted toward graduation, you must be properly registered for the course. ALL of the following steps must be completed in order for your registration to be complete:
Meet with a Faculty Internship Sponsor and your Academic Advisor to discuss your internship plans.

Research internships in Career Services and prepare a resume and cover letter. (Samples are available in Career Services or from on-line resume examples.

When the internship has been agreed upon, pick up an INTERNSHIP AGREEMENT form from Career Services.

Send or take the INTERNSHIP AGREEMENT to an On-Site Sponsor for a description of the internship and the sponsor's signature. Final internship registration requires the signatures of the On-Site Sponsor, your Faculty Internship Sponsor, your own signature and a signature from Career Services.

Return the completed INTERNSHIP AGREEMENT to Career Services. Please fill in the form completely and be sure to either type or print neatly.

Upon completion of your internship, complete the INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE SUMMARY and return it to Career Services. Don't forget to send a thank-you note to your On-Site Sponsor.
