Aurora, N.Y.- The Wells College women’s
lacrosse team had seven players selected to the North Atlantic
Conference West Division All-Conference teams released by the
conference. Wells head coach Lyndsey Wilcox was named NAC West
Division Coach of the Year, while Elizabeth Barclay (Laporte,
Pa./Lincoln Academy) took home NAC West Division Goalie of the
Year honors.

KEUKA HOLDS OFF EXPRESS FOR SECOND
STRAIGHT NEAC CHAMPIONSHIP

Aurora, N.Y.- Brandy Shafer (Rochester, N.Y./Eastridge)
tallied seven goals to lead No. 2 seed Keuka College Storm to a
thrilling, 15-14, upset victory over No. 1 seed Wells College
Express in the North Atlantic Conference West Division women’s
lacrosse championship on Sunday afternoon in Aurora, N.Y. This
is the second straight year that the Storm have won the
title. Shafer earned tournament MVP honors, scoring a total of
13 goals throughout the championship. With the victory Keuka
improves to 9-5 overall, 8-1 in the NEAC, while the Express fall
to 8-8, 7-2 in the NEAC.
LATE GOAL LIFTS EXPRESS OVER CAZENOVIA

Aurora, N.Y.- Emily Lotkowictz scored on a free
position shot with 10 seconds remaining in double-overtime as
the No. 1 seed Wells College Express defeated No. 4 Cazenovia
College 17-16 in the semi-final round of the North Eastern
Athletic Conference tournament on Saturday afternoon in Aurora,
N.Y. With the victory the Express advance to the NEAC
Championship against No. 2 seed Keuka College on Sunday
afternoon at 1:00 p.m. in Aurora.

Cazenovia, N.Y.- The Wells College women’s
lacrosse team fell 17-16 to Cazenovia College (7-7, 5-2 NEAC) in
the regular season North Eastern Athletic Conference finale for
both teams Monday afternoon in Cazenovia, N.Y. Emily Lotkowictz
(Skaneateles, N.Y./Skaneateles) continued her torrid scoring
streak tallying 11 points (7g, 4a), while Sarah Allen (Clay,
N.Y./Cicero-North) added seven points (5g, 2a) to lead Wells.
Cassandra Gazele led the Wildcats with eight points (4g, 4a),
while Courtney Caldwell chipped in with four goals.
WELLS REMAINS PERFECT WITH VICTORY OVER MORRISVILLE

Morrisville, N.Y.- The Wells College women’s
lacrosse team ran their North Eastern Athletic Conference record
to 6-0 defeating conference rival Morrisville State 16-12 on
Friday afternoon in Morrisville, N.Y. With the victory Wells
improves 7-6 (6-0 NEAC), while the Mustangs fall to 4-8 (4-2
NEAC).Emily Lotkowictz tallied six goals and one assists, while
Madeline Bass and Gabriella Decker each netted four goals to
pace the Express. Elizabeth Barclay earned the win in net
registering 15 saves.

The Wells College
women’s lacrosse team remained undefeated in North Eastern
Athletic Conference play holding on to defeat the Keuka College
Storm 14-13 on Wednesday evening in Keuka Park, N.Y. With the
victory the Express take over sole possession of first place in
the NEAC and improve to 6-6 (5-0 NEAC), while the Storm fell to
5-5 (4-1 NEAC).

Buffalo, N.Y.- Emily Lotkowictz (Skaneateles,
N.Y./Skaneateles) and Sarah Allen (Clay, N.Y./Cicero-North)
combined for nine goals as the Wells College Express women's
lacrosse team defeated the Medaille College Mavericks 16-12 in
North Eastern Athletic Conference action Sunday afternoon in
Buffalo, N.Y. With the victory the Express improve to 5-6 (4-0
NEAC), while the Mavericks fall to 1-8 (1-4 NEAC).
WOMEN'S LACROSSE FALLS TO BARD
April 8, 2010
Alfred, N.Y.- The Wells College women’s
lacrosse team fell 8-7 to the Bard College Raptors in
non-conference action Thursday afternoon at Bard. Madeline Bass
(Lemon Grove, Calif./Helix) led the Express with three goals,
while Stefanie Miller (Barton, N.Y./Tioga) added one goal and
three assists. With the loss the Express fall to 4-6, while Bard
improves to 1-5 on the season.

lacrosse team fell 19-10 to non-conference opponent Alfred
University on Monday afternoon in Alfred, N.Y. Emily Lotkowictz
(Skaneateles, N.Y./Skaneateles) paced the Express with three
goals and one assist, Stefanie Miller (Barton, N.Y./Tioga
Central) added three goals, while Madeline Bass (Lemon Grove,
Calif./Helix) chipped in with two goals. With the loss the
Express fall to 4-5, while the Saxons improve to 5-2 on the
year.

lacrosse team (4-4, 3-0 NEAC) won in dominating fashion Friday
afternoon, defeating The College of St. Elizabeth Screaming
Eagles (0-6, 0-1 NEAC) 19-1 in North Eastern Athletic Conference
action in Aurora, N.Y. Sarah Allen (Clay, N.Y./Cicero-North)
led nine different Express scorers with four goals, while

winning streaked snapped on Wednesday afternoon falling to the
Oswego State Lakers (2-3) 23-5 in Oswego, N.Y.

women’s lacrosse team won their third straight game, defeating
North Eastern Athletic Conference opponent Penn. St. Abington
15-2 on Sunday afternoon in Aurora, N.Y. Emily Lotkowictz led

the Wilson College Phoenix 20-0 (0-4, 0-1 NEAC) in North Eastern
Athletic Conference action Saturday afternoon in Aurora, N.Y.
Emily Lotkowictz (Skaneateles, N.Y./Skaneateles) led
the scoring barrage with six goals and two assists, while
Madeline Bass (Lemon Grove, Calif./Helix) finished with five
points on two goals and three assists. Elizabeth Barclay (Laporte,
Pa./Lincoln Academy) earned the shutout victory with five
saves in net, while Alexandra Roemer (Kimberton, Pa./Upattanas)
took the loss in net for the Phoenix finishing with eight saves.

lacrosse player EMILY LOTKOWICTZ (Skaneateles,
N.Y./Skaneateles) was selected as the North Atlantic
Conference West Division Women’s Lacrosse Student-Athlete of the
Week. Lotkowictz was selected for her outstanding offensive
effort, leading the Express to 1-0 week. In an 18-11 over Mt.
St. Mary College, Lotkowictz scored 5 goals on 6 shots, dished
out 3 assists and collected 1 individual ground ball. This is
the second straight week Lotkowictz has been named player of the
week.
BARCLAY LEADS EXPRESS OVER MOUNT ST. MARY

Aurora, N.Y.- Elizabeth Barclay (Laporte,
Pa./Lincoln Academy) finished with 24 saves and three
different players combined for 15 goals as the Wells College
Express women’s lacrosse team (1-4) defeated the Mount St. Mary
College Blue Knights (2-2) 18-11 on Friday afternoon in Aurora,
N.Y. Emily Lotkowictz (Skaneateles, N.Y./Skaneateles)
finished with eight points on five goals and three assists,
Sarah Allen (Clay, N.Y./Cicero-North) tallied six goals and
one assists, while Eleanor Eshenour (Waterloo, N.Y./Waterloo)
chipped in with four goals to lead the Express in their first
win of the season. Catherine Conde (Bloomingburg, N.Y./New
Hyde Park) led six Blue Knight scorers with three goals in
the loss.

Emily Lotkowictz (Skaneateles, N.Y./Skaneateles) was selected as
the NAC West Division Women’s Lacrosse Student-Athlete of the
Week. Lotkowictz, a senior attack for the Wells College Express
was selected for her outstanding offensive effort despite the
teams 0-3 record for the week. Lotkowictz finished the week with
10 goals on 13 shots, 7 assists and 14 individual ground balls.
Lotkowictz scored 3 goals and dished out 3 assists against
Hartwick, had 4 goals
and 3 assists against Ramapo and rounded out the week with 3
goals and an assist against Kean.

five goals, while Emily Lotkowictz (Skaneateles,

RAMAPO RUNS OVER WOMEN'S LACROSSE

Ithaca, N.Y.- The Ramapo College Roadrunners
women’s lacrosse team rolled over the Wells College Express
20-10 on Saturday night at Schoellkopf Field on the
campus of Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y. Emily Lotkowictz
(Skaneateles, N.Y./Skaneateles) led the Express with four
goals and three assists, while Sarah Allen (Clay, N.Y.)
added three goals in the losing effort. Christina Cigolini and
Jenna Pfarr led a total of seven Roadrunner scorers with five
goals each. Megan Tierney earned the win in net with 11 saves,
while Elizabeth Barclay (Laporte, Pa./Lincoln Academy)
finished with five saves in the loss.

Ramapo at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday and Kean University at 2:00 p.m.

led the Express with five goals, while senior Emily
Lotkowictz (Skaneateles, N.Y./Skaneateles) tallied three
goals, three assists, and seven ground balls. Elizabeth Barclay
