MEN'S SWIMMING CAPTURES NEAC CROWN, WOMEN FINISH SECOND
Jeffrey Dick Named NEAC Men's Swimmer of the Year

Cazenovia, N.Y.–  The Cazenovia College women’s and Wells College men’s swimming and diving teams were both crowned Saturday evening as the 2009-10 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Swimming and Diving Champions.

Cazenovia scored 508 points to take the top spot on the women’s side. Wells finished with 470.5 points to lead the men’s contingent.

Cazenovia’s Emily Kostraba (Conesus, NY) was named the NEAC Women’s Swimmer of the Year, while Jeff Dick (Albion, NY) of Wells was awarded the NEAC Men’s Swimmer of the Year.

Bill Houser of Cazenovia was voted by his peers at the NEAC Women’s Coach of the Year. SUNYIT’s Sue Brumm was selected as the NEAC Men’s Coach of the Year.

Wells College was the runner-up on the women’s side with 369 points. College of St. Elizabeth was third with 341, SUNYIT was fourth with 182 and SUNY Cobleskill was fifth with 133.

On the men’s side, SUNYIT was the runner-up with 410.5 points. Cazenovia finished third with 295 and SUNY Cobleskill placed fourth with 180.
