Isabelle M. Ramos '05, originally from Lubbock, TX is now a true New Yorker. As a
Public Affairs: Ethics & Philosophy major, Isabelle interned in the Office of former

with Armed Services Committee affairs. Upon graduation from Wells, Isabelle went on
to attend and graduate from Northeastern School of Law in Boston, MA. While in law
school Isabelle's focus was on social justice issues which lead her to intern with
various civil rights organizations including the Civil Rights division of the U.S.
Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York. Miss Ramos is now a licensed
New York attorney and is happy to bring her professional skills and background not
only to her alma mater but to future Wells students as well.
"Wells College is a very special place. As a liberal arts school it serves its students
well by offering a variety of course topics that are taught by faculty members who
are not only passionate about the subject matter but the students as well. Wells is
not just 'a school'; it is a community of several local and global networks where
students gain the education and experience of a lifetime. Wells students are unique
in that they are not afraid to dream big, set high goals for themselves and society,
and of course, explore the world."
