MEET
OUR FACULTY
The number of
courses required for the FLLC major is 14-16 (36-48 semester hours). At
least six of these courses must be at the 300-level or above; at least
three (four in Spanish) of which must be in the target language. Students
majoring in Foreign Languages, Literatures, and Cultures and minoring in
French, German, Italian or Spanish may not apply the same courses to both
the major and the minor.

AND STUDY ABROAD OPPORTUNITIES
A variety of
internships, in and outside the United States, are available to foreign
language majors, and many find internship sites during their study abroad
experiences. Wells alumnae who are established leaders in their fields
often provide internship opportunities for current students. The following

Explore Europe
while on break from courses in Spain. Compare the French spoken in Senegal
to that of France. Develop your conversational and comprehension skills
while becoming a cultural insider in Italy or Germany. Study the day-to-day
life in the country of your choice and immerse yourself in its heritage.
