"Having the opportunity to work with aspiring teachers is very rewarding. Getting them out into classrooms and watching them turn theory into practice is what I like best."

Susan Wansor

In the field of education, Professor Wansor believes that teaching and research go hand-in-hand. In order to continue to grow as an educator, she says, one must be a lifelong learner. For her, action research is very beneficial when identifying ways to improve practice. This form of research is often cyclical and provides the researcher with the opportunity to continue the investigation based on new findings.
